Garlicky Snow Peas Saute

  1. In a wok or deep skillet, heat oil on medium.
  2. Add garlic, scallions and pepper and saute until softened, 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add snowpeas and jicama or water chestnuts and saute another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add soy sauce and stir together.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
