Amaretto and bourbon BBQ sauce/marinade
- 5 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 pinch garlic salt
- 50 ml bourbon whisky, I used bushmills honey
- 50 ml amaretto/dissaronno
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 10 ml dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp medium chilli powder (add more to taste)
- 10 ml lemon juice
- Boil if you want it as a dip and allow to cool.
- Although it is a great marinade, smother over ribs or selected meats for about 4 hours or 24 hours if you have tooooo much time on your hands.
- Empty as much sauce as you possibly can onto your selected dish..... Rather tasty!
