Carmel Apple Pie....
- 1 unbaked pie shell ( I made my own)
- 6 cup sliced Apples
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 6 tbsp butter
- 6 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees .
- Peel, core, slice apples.combine the apples, br.
- Sugar, corn starch, cinnamon.
- Place in crust.
- Combine all the Topping ings.
- With your fingers until crumbly.
- Sprinkles crumbs on top.
- Bake 45 minutes.
- Watch the top uf it gets to Brown throw a piece of foil on top.check to make sure apples are tender.
- I stabbed a knife in mine.
- To make Carmel.
- Combine the sugar , corn syrup in a sausepan .
- I used a non stick one.
- Cook stirring until a deep amber color.
- Remove from heat add butter, cream , vanilla one at a time.
- Be careful might splatter.
- When pie is cool.
- Pour all over the top.
- ( it makes pretty much.
- I did not put all my carmel on.
- I saved the rest of it).
