Cheesy Crunchy Crescents
- 8 eggs (normally I buy large eggs, but I use medium for this)
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 salt to taste
- 1 pepper to taste
- 6 oz of an 8 ounce package of cheddar or Colby cheese (I use a cheese block and slice my own slices)
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Spray muffin tin with non-stick spray.
- Place the crescent roll dough piece in the bottom of each muffin cup with the excess hanging out.
- Place a slice of cheese in each cup on the dough.
- Place a teaspoon of bacon bits in each cup.
- Crack an egg into each cup.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Pull the ends of the dough over the top of the egg.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- *You can also put a few cheese shreds on the top before baking if desired.

- **This makes 8 muffins.
