Thanksgiving Cranberry Pie Recipe
- 1 pkg. (15 ounce.) refrigerated pie crust (2 crusts)
- 1 (3 ounce.) orange or possibly strawberry Jello
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1 (8 ounce.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 c. cool half and half or possibly lowfat milk
- 1 pkg. Jello vanilla instant pudding
- 1 c. thawed Cold Whip
- Prepare pie crust in 9 inch pie pan as directed.
- Dissolve Jello in boiling water, add in orange juice.
- Let stand till thickened (chill) about 5 min.
- Stir in cranberry sauce.
- Spoon into pie crust.
- Refrigeratetill set, about 30 min.
- Pour lowfat milk into bowl, add in pudding and beat with wire whisk till well blended.
- Let stand till slightly thickened.
- Mix in whip cream; gently spread over Jello mix.
- Refrigeratetill hard, 2 hrs.
