Half And Half Mint Chocolate Pie Recipe

  1. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 c. cool water.
  2. Pour scalded lowfat milk slowly into sugar and egg yolks.
  3. Cook egg and lowfat milk mix in a double boiler, stirring constantly, till it starts to thicken.
  4. Take off heat and stir in softened gelatin.
  5. Take half of custard and add in melted chocolate; refrigeratetill partially set, then add in whipped cream; pour into crust and chill.
  6. Add in mint extract and beaten egg whites to other half of custard and pour over chocolate layer.
