Pretzel Strawberry Salad - Pretzel Salad

  1. Mix crushed pretzels, 3 tbsp (45 ml) sugar and melted margarine in bowl.
  2. Spread this mixture in 9 inch x 13 inch pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degress F.
  4. Put softened cream cheese in bowl.
  5. Fold in sugar.
  6. Fold in Cool Whip.
  7. Spread this mixture on top of cooled pretzel crust.
  8. Dissolve 1 large package of strawberry Jello in 2 cups (475 ml) boiling water.
  9. Add frozen or fresh strawberries if desired.
  10. Pour over cream cheese/Cool Whip mixture.
  11. Refrigerate overnight.
