Soy Sauce Butter Pasta with Japanese Leek and Bacon
- 2 stalks Japanese leek
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 3 slice Bacon
- 200 grams Pasta
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Pasta boiling water
- 1 Salt and black pepper
- Cut the Japanese leek into 3 cm pieces.
- Cut the bacon into 1 cm pieces.
- Boil plenty of water and add some salt and cook the pasta.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.
- Saute the white parts of the leeks.
- Add the bacon, green part of the leeks and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and cook until lightly charred.
- Once the pasta is cooked, add to the leeks.
- Turn the heat to medium and add the pasta water, butter and soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.
