Almond Joy Chocolate Pie Recipe

  1. CRUST:Preheat the oven to 325 .
  2. Lightly butter a 9" pie plate.
  3. Place 20 of the candies and the graham cracker crumbs in a food processor.
  4. Process till mix is thoroughly blended.
  5. Press onto bottom & up the sides of a prepared pie plate.
  6. Bake for 10 min.
  7. Allow to cold completely on a rack.
  8. FILLING:In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar, starch, cocoa & salt.
  9. Blend in the lowfat milk.
  10. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, till it boils.
  11. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
  12. (Mix will be very thick.)
  13. Remove from heat; blend in vanilla.
  14. Add in the remaining 16 candy pcs and stir till melted.
  15. Pour into prepared crust; press plastic wrap onto surface.
  16. Chill.
  17. Top with sweetened whipped cream, if you like.
  18. Servings: 6 - 8
