Grandmas Potato Bake

  1. Brown the ground beef then drain, then remove from pan.
  2. In the same pan add oil and potato and cook on medium heat until light brown.
  3. Remove potato from pan.
  4. In the same pan add flour and onion.
  5. Cook on medium heat until the onion browns.
  6. Add the browned potato and ground beef back into the pan along with the milk.
  7. Cover, bake on stovetop on low to medium heat for 40 minutes or until milk has evaporated and the potatoes are tender.
  8. During cook time you must stir occasionaly to prevent the potatoes from sticking to the pan.
  9. During the last 10 minutes add the cheese and cover for the remaining time.
