Apple Crumble Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine nuts, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder.
  4. Beat butter, cream cheese and remaining sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Blend in vanilla.
  7. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  8. Pour batter into 13x9-inch parchment-lined pan sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with half the nut mixture.
  9. Toss apples with remaining nut mixture; spoon evenly over cake batter.
  10. Bake 30 to 40 min.
  11. or just until cake begins to pull away from sides of pan.
