Apple Crumble Cake
- 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
- 1-1/4 cups sugar, divided
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 6 oz. (3/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, sliced
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Combine nuts, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
- Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder.
- Beat butter, cream cheese and remaining sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Blend in vanilla.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Pour batter into 13x9-inch parchment-lined pan sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with half the nut mixture.
- Toss apples with remaining nut mixture; spoon evenly over cake batter.
- Bake 30 to 40 min.
- or just until cake begins to pull away from sides of pan.
