Flora's Southern Fried Squash and Zucchini

  1. in a deep skillet heat the oil on a med high heat
  2. chop your squash and zucchini into med thick slices depending on your tastw you may want them thinner.
  3. in a bowl beat the eggs, and place cornmeal on a plate for dipping.
  4. add the seasonings to the cornmeal and stir.
  5. Drop the veggies into the egg wash then into the cornmeal in batches.
  6. then place in the skillet not over crowding.
  7. brown on both sides.
  8. place on a paper towel to drain and dash with a lil more salt.
  9. enjoy!
  10. * note: ingredients can be adjusted depending on amount of veggies you are frying.
  11. * note: want to kick it up a notch....fry in bacon grease!
