Biscuits Made With Yeast Recipe

  1. Cream sugar and shortening.
  2. Add in flour and mix till very fine.
  3. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c. hot water for 5 min.
  4. Add in yeast and water and buttermilk all at once.
  5. Mix till dough forms.
  6. Knead dough lightly about 20 times.
  7. Lightly grease a 10 x 3 inch pan.
  8. Allow to rise 1 1/2 hrs.
  9. Roll out and form into biscuits.
  10. Place on pan.
  11. Bake 10-15 min at 400 degrees or possibly till golden on top.
