Disappearing Chocolate Bars
- 1 14 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter, softened
- 23 cup baking cocoa
- 2 large eggs
- 1 large egg white
- 2 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 14 cups all-purpose flour
- 23 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
- 1 14 cups walnuts, chopped
- 13 cup baking cocoa
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 14 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
- Preheat oven to 350F Gease 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Combine sugar, butter, cocoa, eggs, egg white, vanilla and salt in a large mixer bowl; beat until light and fluffy.
- Alternately beat in flour and evaporated milk just until blended.
- Fold in nuts.
- Spread in prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan on wire rack.
- Frost with Creamy Chocolate Icing.
- CREAMY CHOCOLATE ICING:.
- Combine baking cocoa and 3 tablespoons melted butter in medium bowl; stir well.
- Alternately stir in 1 cup sifted powdered sugar and 1/4 cup evaporated milk.
- Stir vigorously until smooth.
