Macie's Chili
- 4 lbs chicken, cooked (I boil mine, precooked is o.k. Time for this is not included in prep time)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb smoked sausage, cut into quarter inch pieces
- 2 bay leaves
- 26 ounces corn and black bean salsa, Walmart brand
- 26 ounces lime garlic salsa, Walmart brand
- 3 (16 ounce) cans ranch style beans
- 12 cup cumin
- 12 cup chili powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- Cook and set aside chicken, or open package of cooked chicken and set aside.
- In a medium large pot, heat oil and brown ground beef.
- Add sausage and heat through.
- Add chicken to the beef and sausage mixture and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add bay leaves, both jars of salsa, beans, spices, sugar and ketchup.
- Cover and simmer for an hour or so.
- Enjoy!
