Amazingly Simple Bean Dip
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Beef
- 1 pinch Onion Powder
- 1 can Refried Beans
- 1 can Chili, No Beans
- 1 pound Velveeta Cheese
- 1 jar Salsa (mild Or Medium As Preferred)
- Brown ground beef in skillet; season with onion powder (or with diced onion if you prefer to go that route).
- Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large pot over medium heat, combine refried beans and chili (no beans, remember!).
- Add slices of Velveeta cheese, a few at a time, until melted; stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
- Once all cheese has been melted, add the jar of medium salsa, stirring until combined.
- Add in the cooked ground beef, and stir well to ensure all ingredients are mixed well.
- Simmer over low to medium heat, until heated through.
- Serve warm, with your favorite style of tortilla chips; garnish with sour cream and/or chives if desired.
