Angel Food Cake With Warm Cherry Sauce Recipe

• 1 bag frzn cherries - (12 ounce)
• 1/4 c. golden brown raisins
• 1/4 c. apple brandy (Apple Jack brand recommended)
• 2 Tbsp. butter
• 2 Tbsp. sugar
• 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
• 1 pch grnd cloves
• 4 slc store-bought angel food cake
• 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream

1. Combine the cherries, raisins, apple brandy, butter, sugar, and spices in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
2. Cook till butter is melted and sauce has thickened, about 5 min.
3. Put the angel food cake slices on 4 plates, and top each with a scoop of cherry sauce and a dollop of lowfat sour cream.
4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
