Walleye Bake Recipe
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash nutmeg
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. sherry (optional)
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- Fish fillets (about 6 nice size halves)
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 green pepper
- Heat oven to 325 degrees.
- Grease 9 x 13 inch pan.
- In 1 qt saucepan, heat 2 Tbsp.
- butter, stir in flour, salt, nutmeg and lowfat milk (and sherry).
- Cook over medium, stir constantly till thick and bubbly, about 4 min.
- Stir in cheese till melted, set aside.
