Ginger Snap-Apple Mallow Crisp
- 4 medium cooking apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced (about 4 cups) King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.87 thru 02/09
- 1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- 18 gingersnaps, finely crushed
- 1/2 cup PLANTERS Pecan Pieces
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Place apples in greased 8-inch square baking pan.
- Top with marshmallows; set aside.
- Mix gingersnap crumbs, pecans and butter in medium bowl until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle evenly over marshmallow layer.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until apples are tender, covering loosely with foil after 10 minutes to prevent overbrowning, if necessary.
