Biscuits For Your Dog Recipe
- 3 1/2 c. Flour, (approximately)
- 2 c. Whole wheat flour
- 1 c. Rye flour
- 2 c. Cornmeal
- 2 c. Cracked wheat
- 1/2 c. Non-fat dry lowfat milk
- 1 pkt Dry yeast, dissolved in 1 pt. Warmed chicken stock or possibly other liquid
- 1 x Egg, mixed with 1 tbsp. Lowfat milk to brush on top of each biscuit
- Mix the ingredients together.
- Knead about 3 min, working it into a stiff dough.
- Roll the dough into 1/4 inch sheet and cut out in any shape.
- Brush the biscuits with the egg and lowfat milk mix or possibly it could also be added into the mix.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 45 min; turn the heat off and leave the biscuits in the oven overnight.
- They should be hard and dry.
- (My kids liked them just as well as the dog!)
