Maple Syrup Pie

  1. Put maple syrup into a heavy saucepan.
  2. Mix flour and water until smooth; stir into maple syrup.
  3. Add egg yolks and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick approximitely 5 minutes.
  4. Add butter, stir until melted.
  5. Pour into pie shell and cool thoroughly.
