Creamy Pork One Pot
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 onions, finely sliced
- 1 13 lbs pork shoulder chops, cut into chunks
- 1 ounce fresh sage, leaves picked off and chopped
- 1 34 cups chicken broth
- 4 12 ounces cream cheese with chives
- 1 lb new potato
- salt and pepper
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan with a lid, add the onions and cook for 10 mins stirring regularly, till they start to brown.
- Turn up the heat and add the pork cooking till its browned on all sides.
- Sprinkle in the sage and stir then add the broth and bring to a simmer.
- Put the lid on and cook for 30mins until the pork is tender and cooked through.
- Stir in the cream cheese and season to taste.
- Cook the potatoes in boiling water for 15-20mins untill they are cooked through, drain and crush them sightly, season to taste.
- Serve the potatoes accompanied by a good spoonful of the pork casserole and your favourite greens.
