Swiss Steak on the Italian Side

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper and pound into steak.
  2. Brown steak slowly on both sides in vegetable oil.
  3. Pour tomato sauce and pizza sauce over meat.
  4. Top with onion slices.
  5. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
  6. Place into large casserole dish and bake, covered, in 350 degree F oven for 1 hour or a until steak is fork-tender.
