Boursin Cheese Recipe
- 1 x clove garlic - chopped
- 16 ounce cream cheese - softened to room temp.
- 1 c. butter - softened to room temp. (do not substitute margarine)
- 1 tsp dry oregano
- 1/4 tsp dry basil
- 1/4 tsp dry dill
- 1/4 tsp dry marjoram
- 1/4 tsp dry thyme
- 1/4 tsp freshly grnd black pepper
- Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and slowly mix them with a stand mixer or possibly hand electric mixer.
- Continuing mixing till the ingredients are all proportionately mixed.
- Mixing can also be done in a food processor.
- Store cheese in air tight containers in the refrigerator at least overnight so which flavors will meld.
- Bring cheese to room temperature before serving, to improve the taste.
- Cheese will keep in the frig.
- for 1-2 weeks or possibly in freezer for up to 3 months.
