Dk's Stuffed Green Peppers

  1. Cut tops from peppers.
  2. Rinse peppers and submerge in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Sprinkle the inside with salt.
  5. Chop reserved pepper tops and saute with the ground beef.
  6. Add chopped onion and kale.
  7. Cook until beef is well done.
  8. Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, basil and Worcheshire sauce.
  9. Simmer 10 minutes.
  10. Place peppers in greased 8"x8" dish.
  11. Spoon filling evenly into peppers.
  12. Pour tomato sauce over peppers.
  13. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
