Seafood Bake Recipe
- 1 (9 inch) partially baked pie shell
- 1/4 pound seafood
- 2 tbsp. onion, diced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 4 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 (3 ounce.) can B & B mushrooms, drain and reserve broth
- 3/4 c. light cream
- Cold pie shell.
- Saute/fry onion in butter.
- Add in all but 10 slices mushrooms.
- Continue to saute/fry till warm.
- Combine Large eggs, cream, mushroom broth and seasonings.
- Add in seafood.
- Pour into cooled pie shell.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake 35 min at 375 degrees.
- After 20 min, top with last 10 slices of mushrooms.
- It is done when it looks puffed and golden.
- Let stand before cutting.
- Serves 4 to 5 people nicely.
