Black Bean Hummus

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and serve with pita bread wedges or tortilla chips.
  4. Note 1: If you like your hummus a tad thinner, add a teaspoon at a time, additional water or liquid from the can.
  5. Note 2: To make pita wedges, cut each pita into 8 wedges.
  6. Arrange on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 425 for about 6 minutes, turning once.
