Chocolate Mint Mousse Torte Recipe
- 2 1/2 Packages Lady Fingers
- 12 ounce. pkg. semi-sweet morsels, melted
- 6 Large eggs, separated, whipped whites
- 1 pt. heavy cream
- 1 lg. spring pan
- Beat egg yolks into chocolate.
- Whip egg whites and add in to chocolate mix; whip 1/2 pint heavy cream, add in to chocolate mix; whip 1/2 pint heavy cream, add in to above ingredients.
- Carefully pushing out air bubbles.
- Pour 1/2 mix into lined Lady Finger pan; add in second layer of Lady Fingers and remaining chocolate mix.
- Refrigerateseveral hrs.
- Before serving whip remaining cream, sweeten to taste and frost top.
- Serves 8.
