Budget-Saving Fried Chicken Tenders

  1. Remove the sinew from the chicken tenders, and cut into 5 pieces lengthwise.
  2. (This goes better if you slice it on the diagonal.)
  3. Add the soy sauce and garlic to the chicken and marinate for 30 minutes to an hour.
  4. Coat with flour.
  5. Coat with egg.
  6. Coat with panko.
  7. Press the panko onto the chicken with your hands.
  8. Press until the pieces are about 5 to 7 mm thick.
  9. This is about the size they should be.
  10. Deep fry in 170C to 180C oil.
