Crocus Cookies

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup lard
• 1 teaspoon baking soda heaping
• 8 large eggs well beaten
• 5 cups flour, all-purpose

1. Combine ingredients together thoroughly.
2. Drop by tablespoonful onto cookie sheet and bake until browned.
