Jalapeno Mashed Potatoes

  1. Put potatoes in a saucepan; add water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil; cook for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  3. Add half-and-half and butter to a small saucepan; heat until just warm.
  4. Drain potatoes and transfer them to a bowl.
  5. Mash potatoes, slowly adding half-and-half mixture until potatoes are creamy.
  6. Stir in jalapenos, green onions, salt, pepper, and lime zest.
