Vickys Brown Oven Bread, Gluten, Dairy, Egg & Soy-Free

  1. Preheat your oven to gas 7 / 220C / 425F and grease & flour a 2lb loaf tin
  2. In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, salt and yeast
  3. In a seperate bowl combine the milk and vinegar
  4. Add the liquid ingredients to the flour mix to form a sticky dough, add 350mls to begin with then add extra by tablespoon as needed
  5. Add the oil and mix in.
  6. The batter should be like a thick cake mix, stiff enough to hold its shape but drop slowly from a spoon
  7. Pour the mix into the loaf tin and smooth the surface over with the back of a wet spoon
  8. Let rise for 20 minutes only then put in the oven
  9. Bake for 45 - 60 minutes until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the base
  10. Let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing
