Meat Sauce Made from Canned Tomatoes
- 400 grams Mixed ground beef and pork
- 2 Onions
- 2 clove Garlic
- 2 can Canned tomato
- 1 to 2 Consomme soup stock cubes
- 200 ml Hot water
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 Bay leaf
- Finely chop the onions and garlic.
- Heat some vegetable oil in a deep pot.
- Stir fry the onions and garlic.
- Once it's all soft, add the meat and stir fry.
- Once the meat changes color, add in the ingredients and simmer.
- Simmer slowly for 30 minutes.
- Once it's cooked down a bit and the moisture has evaporated, it's done.
- I tend to remove the bay leaf at this point.
