Meat Sauce Made from Canned Tomatoes

  1. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
  2. Heat some vegetable oil in a deep pot.
  3. Stir fry the onions and garlic.
  4. Once it's all soft, add the meat and stir fry.
  5. Once the meat changes color, add in the ingredients and simmer.
  6. Simmer slowly for 30 minutes.
  7. Once it's cooked down a bit and the moisture has evaporated, it's done.
  8. I tend to remove the bay leaf at this point.
