Poached Figs

  1. In 2-quart saucepan, heat wine, brown sugar, and cinnamon stick to boiling on high.
  2. Add dried figs.
  3. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until tender.
  4. Transfer figs to bowl.
  5. Increase heat to medium-high; cook until syrupy.
  6. Discard cinnamon.
  7. Serve figs and syrup with ice cream.
