Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts
- 1 pound Bacon
- 16 ounces, weight (2 8-oz. Cans) Whole Water Chestnuts
- 20 ounces, weight Pineapple Chunks, With Juice
- 1/4 cups Soy Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, mix together entire contents of the can of pineapple chunks, soy sauce and brown sugar.
- Cut bacon strips into 3 equal pieces.
- Wrap each water chestnut in one piece of the cut bacon.
- Secure with a toothpick.
- Place into a 9x13 baking dish.
- Pour the pineapple mixture over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Serve warm.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
