Tropical Banana Oats
- 1 cup vanilla coconut milk
- 1/2 cup steel cut oats
- 2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
- 1 tsp iodized salt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 medium bananas
- 2 tbsp evaporated cane juice organic sugar
- Bring the vanilla coconut milk to a boil.
- Bring the heat down to simmer.
- Stir in the steel cut oats, salt, sugar, and extra virgin coconut oil.
- Continue to stir at a low heat for five minutes.
- When the oats show to a mild thickness, turn off the heat and add the cinnamon and honey.
- Slice the bananas with the spoon so they fall freely in the pot.
- Stir and serve.
