8 In One Sugar Cookie Recipe
- 2 c. Butter, or possibly margarine
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
- 4 x Large eggs
- 61/2 c. Flour, sifted
- 1 Tbsp. Cream of tartar
- 2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 1/3 c. Semisweet chocolate pcs
- 1 c. Flaked coconut
- 1/4 tsp Almond extract
- Maraschino cherries
- 1/2 c. Pecans, minced
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. Dark Molasses
- 1/2 tsp Grnd ginger
- 1/2 c. Gumdrops, finely cut
- 1/2 c. Dry fruit, cooked, liquid removed, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Grnd cloves
- 1/4 tsp Orange peel, grated
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 4 tsp Orange juice
- Cream together butter and sugar till smooth and fluffy.
- Stir in unbeaten Large eggs one at a time.
- Mix together dry ingredients; add in to creamed mix alternately with lowfat milk mixing well.
- Divide dough in eight 1 c. lots.
- Wrap each tightly in foil or possibly plastic wrap.
- Freeze.
- Then place in a plastic bag till ready to use.
- When ready to use, thaw dough just sufficient which you can shape or possibly drop it.
- Place cookies about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet and bake at 375 for 10-15 min.
- Spread cookies on racks to cold.
- Mix makes 8 c. dough.
- Each c. makes 24-36 cookies
