Italian Dressing For Turkey
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 stalk celery, cut and preboiled in 4 c. water
- 1 large pkg. Pepperidge Farm Italian stuffing mix
- 2 tsp. all-seasoning salt
- paprika to taste
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- sage to taste
- Combine in a large skillet the oil, onion and bell pepper; brown lightly.
- Add ground chuck, garlic salt, all-seasoning salt and black pepper.
- Continue to brown lightly over medium heat.
- Put ingredients in a large bowl; add eggs and Italian stuffing.
- Stir while adding celery and its water; mix well.
- Add paprika and sage to taste.
- Dressing is ready to stuff inside turkey.
- Cook in a 325u0b0 oven until turkey is done.
