Asian-Style Flank Steak with Rice Noodles
- 2 pounds Flank Steak
- 1 pound Rice Noodles/sticks
- 1 bunch Green Onion
- 13 cups Soy Sauce
- 5 Tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar
- 4 Tablespoons Hoisin Sauce
- 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Toasted Sesame Oil
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper (or More If You Like A Kick)
- 1.
- Trim excess fat off of the steak.
- Lay the steak flat in a casserole dish large enough to fit the steak.
- 2.
- Whisk together all marinade ingredients.
- Pour 2/3 of the marinade over the steak; reserve remaining marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
- 3.
- To prepare the noodles: Follow package directions.
- As noodles are cooking, heat the reserved marinade in a small sauce pan over low heat.
- 4.
- To prepare the steak: Drain marinade from the casserole dish.
- Grill the flank steak about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it has reached desired doneness.
- This can be done on an outdoor grill or an indoor grill pan/skillet.
- 5.
- Slice the steak thinly and serve over the rice sticks.
- Top with green onions and reserved marinade (optional).
