Gourmet Hot Dogs

• 8 whole Good Quality Hot Dogs
• 1/2 cups Shredded Cheese, Whatever You Prefer
• 1/2 cups Finely Chopped Onion
• 1 package (8-count) Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough

1. Preheat oven to temperature stated on crescent roll package, or 375 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Slice hot dogs lengthwise about halfway through, to make a pocket.
3. Sprinkle shredded cheese in each pocket.
4. Sprinkle chopped onion in each pocket.
5. Wrap each hot dog with a crescent roll.
6. Bake according to crescent roll package directions, or for about 12 minutes, until crescent rolls are golden brown.
7. Serve with your favorite hot dog condiments for dipping.
8. Excellent covered with chili, too!
