Chicken Broth in the Slow Cooker

  1. Place chicken carcass in slow cooker and add enough cold water to cover.
  2. Add onions, carrots, celery, and vinegar.
  3. Stir.
  4. Let sit for 30 minutes.
  5. Add salt and turn crockpot to Low.
  6. Simmer broth for at least 6 and up to 48 hours.
  7. 10 minutes before cooking time is up, add a bunch of parsley.
  8. Taste and adjust salt if necessary.
  9. Allow broth to cool until warm.
  10. Strain into storage containers.
  11. Refrigerate or freeze.
