Cooked with a Pressure Cooker: Fresh Potatoes with Sweet Miso
- 500 grams New potatoes
- 1 tsp Vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp Miso
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Mirin
- 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 80 ml Water
- 1 White sesame seeds
- Thoroughly rinse the potatoes in water and drain in a sieve.
- Coat the pressure cooker with oil, add the potatoes, and saute.
- Once they are coated in oil, add in the ingredients.
- Miso is difficult to dissolve, so make sure to dissolve it properly.
- Add a drop lid in the pot, cover with a lid and bring to medium heat.
- After the pressure cooker pin has risen and has pressurized, reduce to low heat, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat.
- Once the pressure has dropped, remove the lid, and boil it down over high heat to thicken.
- It's done .
- Arrange on a plate, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
