Boston Cream Pie Recipe

  1. Prepare cake mix per directions.
  2. Bake in 2 (9 inch) layer pans.
  3. Cold Well.
  4. Split each layer in half.
  5. Prepare instant pudding.
  6. Spread on bottom of each layer.
  7. Cover with upper half.
  8. Makes 2 pies.
  9. Whip cream.
  10. Frost sides of pies.
  11. Frost upper layer about 1 1/2 inches around edge.
  12. Leave center bare.
  13. Fill centers with pie filling.
  14. Chill.
  15. If you like, use decorator to make design of whipped cream around edges.
  16. Looks elegant.
