Cheesy Broccoli-Potato Mash

  1. Bring an inch of water to a boil in a large saucepan fitted with a steamer basket.
  2. Add potatoes, cover and steam for 10 minutes.
  3. Place broccoli on top, cover and steam until the potatoes and broccoli are tender, 6-8 minutes more.
  4. Transfer broccoli to a big bowl; coarsely mash using a potato masher.
  5. Add in the potatoes, cheese, milk, salt, and pepper; continue mashing to desired consistency.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning, if needed.
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. 135 calories, 4 g fat, 17 g carb, 2 g fiber.
