Ground Meat Quiche Recipe
- 1/2 pound grnd venison or possibly beef
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. sliced scallions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown meat in as little oil as possible.
- Drain well.
- Blend mayonnaise, lowfat milk, Large eggs, and cornstarch till smooth.
- Stir in meat, cheese, scallions, salt, and pepper.
- Put into unbaked pie crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 min or possibly till the custard tests done (a knife inserted in center comes out clean).
