Grilled Shrimp & Tropical Salsa

  1. Drain the fruit salad, reserving juice.
  2. Finely chop the fruit and place in a medium-size bowl.
  3. Add cilantro, jalapeno and juice of 1/2 lime.
  4. Stir and refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve shrimp.
  5. Place reserved fruit salad juice, juice of 1/2 lime and zest from the lime in a large resealable plastic bag.
  6. Add cleaned shrimp and turn to coat shrimp with marinade.
  7. Refrigerate to marinate for 30 minutes.
  8. Heat a grill or broiler.
  9. Grill or broil shrimp 2 minutes per side.
  10. season with salt to taste.
  11. Serve shrimp, warm or at room temperature, with salsa on the side.
