Easy Steak Pot Pie

  1. In a large ovenproof skillet, brown beef in butter.
  2. Remove beef; season with pepper and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, combine the vegetables, garlic, water and thyme.
  4. Stir in the gravy.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until the vegetables are thawed.
  7. Stir in beef; remove from the heat.
  8. Separate crescent dough into eight triangles.
  9. Starting at the wide end roll up a third of the length and place over beef mixture with the pointed ends toward the center.
  10. Bake, uncovered at 375 degrees for 16-18 minutes or until golden brown.
