Bacon, egg and cheese boats

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a saute pan over medium high heat, cook the bacon until crispy
  3. Make a V-cut along the center of each baguette, leave aboit 1/2 inch on the bottom.
  4. Scoop out the rest of the bread and place on baking sheet
  5. In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, Gruyere, chives and bacon
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into baguette and place in the oven
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until the eggs are puffy and slightly moist in the middle.
  9. Cut each baguette in half and enjoy.
