Oven-Roasted Asparagus

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Scatter the asparagus and lemon slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Toss with the olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast until the asparagus are starting to brown a bit but are still crisp, 6 to 8 minutes.
  5. Serve with or without the lemon slices.
