Hello Kitty Pocket Sandwich

  1. Since the leftovers from making the character parts are used to fill the sandwich, the procedure is different from the usual.
  2. Cut the ham out to make the ribbon parts.
  3. Cut the pointed part of the teardrop shapes with the oval shape in mind to fit around it.
  4. Use cheese under the ham to stablize it, and cut the cheese around the ham shapes using a toothpick.
  5. When the cheese and ham decorative parts are done, chop up the remainder and combine with your favorite vegetables in scrambled eggs.
  6. Cut the slice of bread down to fit the bento box.
  7. Cut the slice in half, and make a pocket in the middle of each slice.
  8. Spread some mayonnaise or butter (or margarine) inside the pocket and stuff in the filling.
  9. You can use a bamboo skewer to stuff it in to the corners.
  10. Put the stuffed pockets in the bento box, and stick on the ribbon with mayonnaise or butter (or margarine).
  11. Use a corn kernel stuck on with a piece of pan fried pasta as the nose.
  12. Use a nori punch to cut out the eyes.
  13. You can use pre-cut nori seaweed for the whiskers if you're not good at cutting it yourself.
  14. Stick on the eyes and nose with mayonnaise to finish.
  15. If you pack it like this, you just have to add the face afterwards, so I recommend it.
