Hello Kitty Pocket Sandwich
- 1 slice Sliced bread
- 1 slice Ham
- 1 slice Cheese
- 1 dash Nori seaweed
- 1 Corn kernel
- 1/2 strand Spaghetti
- 1 Egg
- Since the leftovers from making the character parts are used to fill the sandwich, the procedure is different from the usual.
- Cut the ham out to make the ribbon parts.
- Cut the pointed part of the teardrop shapes with the oval shape in mind to fit around it.
- Use cheese under the ham to stablize it, and cut the cheese around the ham shapes using a toothpick.
- When the cheese and ham decorative parts are done, chop up the remainder and combine with your favorite vegetables in scrambled eggs.
- Cut the slice of bread down to fit the bento box.
- Cut the slice in half, and make a pocket in the middle of each slice.
- Spread some mayonnaise or butter (or margarine) inside the pocket and stuff in the filling.
- You can use a bamboo skewer to stuff it in to the corners.
- Put the stuffed pockets in the bento box, and stick on the ribbon with mayonnaise or butter (or margarine).
- Use a corn kernel stuck on with a piece of pan fried pasta as the nose.
- Use a nori punch to cut out the eyes.
- You can use pre-cut nori seaweed for the whiskers if you're not good at cutting it yourself.
- Stick on the eyes and nose with mayonnaise to finish.
- If you pack it like this, you just have to add the face afterwards, so I recommend it.
